CHV is fully funded by the generosity of donations from granting bodies, individual donations and student-led fundraisers. Fundraising events include our annual Charity Ball and raffle, being an affiliated charity with the Edinburgh Marathon Festival, bucket collecting at the Edinburgh Christmas Markets and Murrayfield, bake sales and ceilidh’s. We are extremely grateful to the local and national businesses and granting bodies who continue to support our work.
Every penny donated is put directly into providing services for the vulnerable young people we work with.
- £10: funds one night out for one child
- £20: buys healthy snacks and drinks for one group of children
- £60: will pay for a semester’s worth of activities for a child
- £100: funds a whole group’s activity evening
- £150: pays for a child’s space at a three day residential camp
- £400: funds a whole group’s day trip (12 children)
